Zaozhuang Zu’an Shangjing Lighting Design

The preliminary planning of this project consists of 6 high-rise residential buildings and street-front shops along the west, east sides of the community and the south side of Xiaoqing River, presenting a planning layout of “two axes, multiple nodes, and one loop”. Designed by Tongji University Planning & Design Institute (Shanghai), the project adopts a French classical architectural style, aiming to create a high-end lifestyle community with French romantic charm.

“Highlighting Key Elements” refers to emphasizing landmark buildings and crucial scenic spots with high-brightness lighting when necessary, forming a visual layering of light and dark. This attracts public attention, achieves brand building and highlight creation, and avoids the result of undistinguished lighting that exists everywhere without unique features.

“Making Full Use (of Resources)” means fully leveraging lighting design to enhance urban attractiveness, upgrade urban taste, and serve economic development—without wasting energy or generating excessive light pollution. Brightening the city at the cost of energy waste and light pollution would lead to more losses than gains.

“Differentiated Treatment” requires designing and installing lighting systems based on the differences in urban planning functional zones and building properties, integrating professional architectural lighting design and outdoor lighting techniques to ensure the lighting scheme is both targeted and compliant with industry standards.

This is the nighttime facade view of Zaozhuang Zu’an Shangjing, showcasing a sophisticated Illumination Design of Real Estate Complex. For the high-rises, floodlighting design and dynamic light design create striking purple visual highlights, while architectural lighting design outlines the French-style contours. The street-front shops adopt warm outdoor lighting design to enhance ambiance. This scheme follows the “highlighting key elements” principle, building distinct light-dark layers that emphasize the community’s romantic style and boost nighttime visibility.

Adhering to the “differentiated treatment” principle, the scheme balances functional lighting for residential zones and decorative lighting for public spaces, aligning with the French-style positioning—enhancing the urban nightscape while ensuring energy efficiency and aesthetic harmony.
